Hope's Voice International was created to give hope a face and a voice through our speakers, ambassadors and the message we bring to communities, schools and organizations around the world. We feel that hope is more than just a word. It can be the spark that moves one to act and to use their voice for social change. As you explore our website and the various programs we offer please keep in mind how strong hope can be. Let us inspire or renew that hope in your community because with hope and faith anything is possible.

MISSION STATEMENT
Hope's Voice International is an HIV and AIDS organization committed to promoting the education and prevention of HIV and AIDS to young adults. Hopeís Voice International aims to empower HIV positive youth to be leaders in educating their communities and be catalysts for change around the globe. Hope's Voice International uses open dialogue and peer-to-peer education, through both speaker appearances of young adults living with HIV and AIDS and the Does HIV Look Like Me? campaign to send this crucial message: HIV and AIDS does not discriminate. At Hope's Voice International we aim to raise awareness and help young adults create the social change that is needed to end this epidemic and the stigma associated with it.

HISTORY OF HOPEíS VOICE
In 2004 when Todd Murray attended a Ryan White Youth Conference, he noticed that few organizations dealt specifically with HIV and its affects on young people. Even fewer seemed interested in lending positions of leadership to young peopleóa startling discovery considering young people under the age of 25 make up half of all new HIV cases in the world. As a response, Todd and a colleague later created Hopeís Voice, an organization meant specifically to end the silence around youth, sex, STDís and the HIV and AIDS epidemic.

Since our inception we have taken every opportunity to make the organization accessible and inclusive of young people. Although we reach people from all demographics, young people ages 15-28 represent the majority of Hopeís Voice audience. It has been crucial to include this groupís thoughts, ideas and talents in regard to how the organization is run and how new programs and campaigns are developed.

At Hopeís Voice, we believe that because young people are at the center of the HIV and AIDS crisis they must be at the center of the solution. What they need, and what we aim to provide is the knowledge, skills, proper tools and power to act. As an organization created by young people who are also members of the HIV community, we recognize the importance of reaching out to this crucial demographic.
