AIDS
Doesn't Discriminate

In 2008 half of new HIV infections are in women and young adults under the age of 25.  The HIV and AIDS epidemic continues to affect and infect communities, countries and workforces around the globe. As we mark 25 years of living with this epidemic we must all work together to bring awareness, education and reduce the stigma surrounding this disease.  HIV and AIDS impact all communities -- from the fields of Columbia to the factories in India to the offices of Manhattan. We know that employees and businesses can be empowered to be part of the solution by gaining an education, awareness and a personal connection with young HIV positives that are leaders in educating people about the epidemic. Companies around the world are embracing the HIV and AIDS cause by donating millions of dollars yet few employees and consumers can identify with the disease and those who are HIV positive.  We are here to change that.

Hope’s Voice International is a global leader in developing and providing critical HIV and AIDS education and awareness programs for academic and business institutions of all sizes.  Founded four short years ago, our programs have reached more than 500,000 college students and employees of small, medium and large corporations with an important message – HIV and AIDS do not discriminate.  Diversity training is often an essential part of any corporate business plan, and AIDS Doesn’t Discriminate (ADD) diversity training provides a personal and powerful social awareness, sensitivity training and education for employers and their staff.

Hope’s Voice International conducts extensive public speaking training for our delegates who draw on their personal experiences to create a powerful experience like no other program available.  The trainers have been featured in major media outlets including MTV, BET, USA Today, Newsweek, San Francisco Chronicle and People magazine.  The trainers share the education and their experience in an intimate setting that diminishes fear, encourages questions, inspires courage and causes employees to examine their preconceptions about the disease, often spurring them to action.  Our trainers come from the communities we serve and from all walks of life; they are young men and women who are living with HIV or AIDS. It is their comprehensive education and first-hand accounts of living with the disease that make these presentations resonant and immediate for any audience.

The ADD promotional kit is winning the praise of leading employers and companies.  Hope’s Voice International has benefited from the superb work of artists, designers and photographers who created our contemporary, eye-catching materials, which makes our trainers seem familiar, unthreatening and approachable.  The ADD promotional kit includes our highly regarded Does HIV Look Like Me? DVD mini series, which features stirring personal stories of young people from around the world living with HIV or AIDS.  The kit also includes posters, t-shirts, and web-ready documentaries suitable for your company’s website, and electronic versions of the campaign collateral.  This kit has everything a diversity director requires to promote and deliver a successful training program at a very nominal cost.

Hope’s Voice International also provides a Certificate of Completion to each participant, and to each sponsoring business, upon successful conclusion of the training. Sponsors are also acknowledged on the Hope’s Voice International website, and in our Annual Report.  Hope’s Voice International is a non-profit organization and directly benefits from corporate contributions and matching gifts programs, which provide essential support Hope’s Voice International initiatives.  The majority of your donation goes directly to the programs we deliver.  Only a small percentage of your donation is allocated to cover administrative costs.

When you engage Hope’s Voice International to conduct diversity training sessions, you are among a growing number of leading corporations that have joined us to send the message to their clients, employees, families and communities in which we live and work that “AIDS doesn’t discriminate, and neither do we.”

We know you have many choices when it comes to the selection of diversity training programs that are right for your business.  We often hear from employees about how much our trainers have inspired them. Choosing an ADD training will not only leave a lasting impression on your employees, but may well save lives.
