What are the fees for a Hope’s Voice speaker?

When you call Hope’s Voice International to book a speaker, the Director of Domestic Programs will give you a package price. Our packages include the booking fee, speaker’s fee, travel, lodging and your promotional kit. Please keep in mind that certain factors will affect the price of your event, including the speaker’s base rate, location and the events and time requested for your engagement. 

How do I book a speaker?

The Director of Domestic Programs will work with you to select the
speaker(s) best suited for your event.  Once you have chosen your top speaker choices please complete the contract information form.  This form allows Hope’s Voice International to request the availability of the selected speakers and process the contract for your program. The contract must be returned by the designated date to hold your speaker and date. Please remember that our speaker’s calendars tend to fill up quickly, so be sure to book early! Can I book more than one Hope’s Voice speaker for a panel style event?

Absolutely! Our panels are strong and diversified young adults living with HIV and AIDS. These panels allow your students to see that HIV and AIDS does not discriminate and to hear a variety of experiences from those living with the disease. Our clients are often impressed with the interaction students have with our speakers. The panel allows participants to hear a number of perspectives on the same disease. The Director of Domestic Programs can tailor a panel for your specific event, making sure you get exactly what you want. We offer a 10% discount for all panel events (3 or more speakers).

Are the speakers at Hope’s Voice limited to speaking engagements at universities?

Hope’s Voice International speakers are available for any event regardless of venue. We do not limit our speakers to a particular setting. Our speakers have spoken at universities, high schools, staff meetings, company retreats and large conferences, to name a few. Our experienced Director of Domestic Programs can make arrangements for any event.

What materials do you provide?

Hope’s Voice International knows that schools and communities are committed to providing HIV and AIDS education but find it difficult to create materials that appeal to the general public. The Does HIV Look Like Me? campaign promotional materials are getting the attention of young people. The materials are fashion forward and eye-catching making HIV and AIDS an approachable topic. Each speaking engagement receives the Does HIV Look Like Me? promotional bundle kit that includes everything you need, including posters, t-shirts and media, to get the word out and have a successful event! We also have partnerships with national organizations and can provide educational materials for your event. If you would like to have an exhibit table so students may take home information and resources from your event, please notify the Director of Domestic Programs.
