CDC National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention
Provides up-to-date information about AIDS and HIV research, treatment and surveillance reports.

Human Resources and Services Administration
Federal government agency responsible for administering Ryan White funds. Site also features HIV/AIDS statistics.

National Institutes of Health — Office of AIDS Research Responsible for the scientific, budgetary, legislative and policy elements of the NIH AIDS research program.

AIDS Action
A Washington DC based organization dedicated to the development, analysis, cultivation, and encouragement of sound policies and programs in response to the HIV epidemic. Web site includes extensive legislative information section.

AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition
A community and consumer based organization, founded to accelerate the ethical development and global delivery of vaccines against HIV/AIDS. Web site contains useful information on various issues surrounding HIV/AIDS vaccines.

American Public Health Association
Non-profit organization founded to develop, promote, and implement public human service policies and practices that improve the health and well-being of families, children, and adults. Site includes legislative information about managed care, health policy initiatives and action alerts.

Names Project
Provides information about the AIDS Memorial Quilt, links, quilt display schedule, and a searchable list of names and panels.

National Association of People With AIDS
The National Association of People With AIDS advocates on behalf of all people living with HIV and AIDS in order to end the pandemic and the human suffering caused by HIV/AIDS.

National Minority AIDS Council
Established in 1987, NMAC is the premier national organization dedicated to developing leadership within communities of color to address the challenges of HIV/AIDS. Web site includes numerous publications relating to policy and treatment as well as a conference calendar and list of HIV/AIDS hotlines.

Treatment Action Group
The first and only AIDS organization dedicated solely to advocating for larger and more efficient research efforts, both public and private, towards finding a cure for AIDS. Features treatment reviews, policy papers and TAGline newsletter.

AIDS Treatment Data Network
An independent, community-based, not-for-profit, organization that provides treatment access and advocacy, case management, supportive counseling, and English and Spanish language information services to men, women and children with AIDS and HIV, and limited resources. Web site features fact sheets, a directory of clinical trials, Treatment Review newsletter, and a Spanish newsletter.

AEGIS-AIDS Education Global Information System
The AEGiS web site is a virtual library of Internet resources on HIV and AIDS. It presents topical information on the AIDS virus, treatment, and prevention; daily news updates; a law library of AIDS-related cases; newsletters, journals, and other publications; and reference materials. In addition, the site has a database of annotated links, a feedback form, and a search engine.
