Beth Schmidt
Director of Domestic Programs

Beth joined the Hope's Voice International family in September of 2007 when she moved to New York City from Syracuse, NY where she lived for two years after studying Theater at Le Moyne College. She is HIV negative and began her role as an HIV and AIDS activist somewhat coincidentally but finds the work she does with Hope's Voice International extremely rewarding and grows more passionate about the issues surrounding HIV and AIDS the more she learns about it herself.

Since taking her position with Hope's Voice International, Beth has traveled to conferences around the United States with Hope's Voice International Speakers and Staff promoting the program to Colleges and Universities around the country. Getting to meet students and share her story of how meeting speakers and co-workers who are vibrant young people living positive fuels the work she does from the office helping students bring the unique Hope's Voice International program to their school. Beth is excited to have joined the company during a huge period of growth in the mission and goals of Hope's Voice International and is proud to be among the young voices that is raising awareness and fighting the stigma surrounding HIV by spreading a message of hope and empowerment.
